Analysis of the Silver Chart
The silver price, as shown in this chart, traded in a range between 3.5 and 10 US dollars from around 1984 to 2006. After breaking out of the more than two-decade-long price range and losing 55% in 2008, the silver price recorded its all-time high of 48.41 US dollars in April 2011. Following this explosive price increase, silver lost around 70% of its value by the end of 2015.
